Putting My Experience to Work
I am a lifelong Floresville resident and proud graduate of Floresville ISD. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from St. Mary’s University, where I was a McNair Scholar. I later had the opportunity to conduct, publish, and present research in psychology at the University of Notre Dame. I went on to earn my Specialist Degree in School Psychology from Texas State University and am a licensed school psychologist. Throughout my career, I have been committed to serving students, families, and communities through thoughtful leadership, collaboration, and data driven decision making. My work has always focused on building strong systems that support people and deliver meaningful results.
I currently serve as a Training Manager for the Texas Council of Administrators of Special Education and previously held leadership roles including Director of Special Education for Poth ISD and Special Programs Coordinator for East Central ISD. My professional experience includes program development, budgeting, and securing federal, state, and local funding. As a City Councilwoman, I bring this same disciplined approach to public service. My priorities include public safety, smart growth, affordability, and responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars. I am committed to ensuring Floresville has safe water, safe roads, and neighborhoods where families can thrive today and into the future.
